Privacy Policy

This policy describes the current web version of The Legion Handbook, an independent reading and prayer companion.

Reading data on your device

Preferences, bookmarks, highlights, personal notes, reading positions, prayer progress and game progress are saved in your browser. The app does not provide its own reader accounts or cross-device sync. It does not upload your personal notes or bookmarks to an app database.

Requests and service providers

Loading the app sends normal web requests to our hosting provider, ChatGPT Sites and its hosting infrastructure. These requests can include your IP address, browser information, requested address and time. Hosting access controls may require a hosting-platform sign-in; that is separate from the app’s local reading data. We do not set the hosting provider’s log-retention periods.

Bible chapters and Bible text searches use API.Bible through our server. The book, chapter or search phrase you request is sent to that service. When supplied by API.Bible, its Bible usage-measurement script runs in your browser and reports Bible views. Direct requests to that provider can expose network and browser information. Do not put personal or sensitive information into Bible searches.

External links, including YouVersion and original content sources, open services governed by their own privacy policies.

Talk text corrections

The app owner can save correction drafts and publish talk text through a protected editor. Correction drafts, published text and revision history are stored on the server. Drafts and history are visible only to the owner; published corrections are available to readers. These records contain edited book text, not your personal notes or bookmarks.

Offline reading

The app automatically stores its reading interface, Handbook text, published 52 Talks text and prayer resources in this browser for offline use. It checks for published corrections when connected. Original scans and PDFs, Bible reading and games require internet. Offline copies stay on this device and can be removed by clearing this site’s browser data; your browser may also remove them to free storage.

Storage and deletion

Local reading data remains until you delete items, clear this site’s browser data or your browser removes it. Delete individual notes and bookmarks in My Library. To remove all app data and cached downloads, use your browser’s site-data controls for this app. That does not delete hosting-platform or third-party records.

There is no app-created reader account to delete in this version. For provider-held data, use the provider’s privacy contact or contact support for guidance. No fixed provider retention period is promised here.

Advertising and future features

This version has no app-integrated advertising network. Language translation, AI explanations, audio, work tracking and prayer push reminders are not currently offered. We will update this policy before introducing materially different data handling.

For privacy questions or data enquiries, email hustleandbustletv@gmail.com. The app is maintained by Vitalis Omaibi. If you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments through our email provider. We use them to handle your enquiry and retain correspondence while needed to resolve it and keep relevant support records. You can request deletion by email; provider retention and any applicable legal obligations may limit what can be removed.
